Since I had the day off today(Friday), I decided to make my usual Saturday rounds (pawn shops, GC, etc.) First thing I bought was a non working AT4050 (complete with shockmount and case in original box) for $35. Gonna take this to my mic tech and hope he can fix it cheap. I went to Guitar Center's holiday sale and looked at "the list". Bought a brand new Casio Privia PX200 for $199 (they had been selling these for $549). I know it's no Kurzweil, Korg, etc. but it's a hell of a lot better than the Williams I've been using. Last stop was at a pawn shop I rarely visit. There on the counter sat a Ramsa WR-S4416 mixer. They wanted $100 as is, no returns. They don't take Visa, so I offered the guy all the cash I had left on me ($57) and he said sold. So far 15 of 16 channels checked out great. One channel is working intermittently, so hopefully it's either dirty or a loose connection. I was going to open it up and clean and check everything anyway, since it's an old board. So, that was my day. How was yours? God, I love being a slut.
