Thanks. Yeah I was just worried that either of those 2 pre's would be pretty much the same thing as the Duet's as they are supposed to be pretty clean, transparent etc and that the difference might be to subtle to be worth the expense. I am happy with the Duet's pre's so I suppose money might be better invested elsewhere.

I use an Behringer B2pro at the min. I'm going to buy an Audio Technica 4033a shortly though. I had a Rode K2 for a week which broke, so I sent it back. Quite liked it's sound though but I'd rather not have tubes for studio gear. I'll be buying the 4033 within the next few weeks but I'm just not sure about a pre yet.
