In the tracking room, I recommend them on pretty much as many walls as you can manage.

In the control room, generally I like them on the rear wall only.

If it's a one room design, or a really long control room, you can put them on the side walls at the rear of the room.

Don't use diffusors at reflection points, though. Especially in a small room.

Also, don't use diffusors on the ceiling, unless you have really tall ceilings.
