here's a pair
Sennheiser HD-25 13 MK2 hoofdtelefoon koptelefoon - J&H Licht en Geluid
it's a discontinued model so it seems
Sennheiser HD 25-13 - DV247.COM
but that doesn't matter much, the other versions (HD-25-1 (70 Ohm)) will also do fine (have two pairs of those plus one HD-25-13)
the HD-25 was first developed for drummers
Sennheiser HD25 - DV247.COM
my Sony MDR-V900 HD are going in the other direction: a dip in the low end, and extra highs. good for female singers and checking reverb.
After my AKG broke I need a neutral pair of headphones again - probably the Beyer 770 - Always wondered about Grado
instead of a dedicated headphone amp get a good monitor controller like this one:
SPL monitor control or this
Coleman M3PH vs. SPL MTC 2381
if you need to have the artist wear headphones (in the vocal booth for example) - a seperate headphone amp might be handy too. (with attennuators so they can change the volume themselves within a certain range)
cheap alternative = get a long extention cable and run it from the monitor controller thumbsup
+1 on the
WARNING - keep the levels low. Your ears will break before this pair of headphones!! (easily!!)
