Does using just a small set of nearfields (like NS10's with no sub) diminish the acoustics of the room and require less treatment?
As of now, I have 9 bass traps (Realtraps and Gik), skyline diffusion on the back wall and the proper mount of absorption. But I'm still having bass issues.
I'm thinking of getting rid of my monitors and getting NS10's and a nice Bryston.
