uuh....no way !! ya mean ultrabeat, right ??

tried it a few times...really tried to like it.....arrrrghhhhh ....hate it, sorry!
first of all it´s more of a drum/perc-synth.....though one oscillator is able to load a sample.....and than has 1001 ways to tweak it.....it´s just so unintuitive!
didn´t really get into the patter sequencer also.....for me ...it´s just to complicated!
dunno.....maybe I´m to dumb.
Battery is just so easy to load up different drumsounds & layer them....(that´s what most of the hiphop guys do anyway, isn`t it?...it´s all about layering) and tweak them right.

In my opinion applemagic failt BIG TIME on the "drums"-part of Logic. if it had something like ableton live´s "impulse"....a really QUICK and simple drum sampler and some nice internal MIDI-FX (a real good STEP-SEQ !!, arpeggiator, something like korg karma....etc.) it would be 10times more usefull (imagine doubleclicking on an impulse-slot and the sound opens in logic´s audioeditor.....woooooooho)
and for the sake of it finally had some real bangin stock swing templates from a MPC 3000. it´s all possible they just don´t do it right.... sorry for the rant

btw. if your looking for the ultimate hardcore eurotrance kick.....Ultrabeat, no doubt !!!!
