making this thread, and thinking, and listening to you guys etc, has improved my mixing. Its had a good effect on me, so thanks.
(its difficult to hear or spot that particular kick on my tannoys, i only heard it on my bros subwoofer)

Now im making a beat, for example, with itunes open at the same time, and when i am working on a bass sound, i think of some famous song, and play it in itunes to cross reference..... not as ideal as putting a wav rip into the logic file to cross refereence, as itunes i dont know how it colours and the 0db etc issues....
Korbes, thanks for that advice. (808 thread? lol)

No i dont have any earphone apart from crappy ear buds.
Please someone see my yesterdays posts, im looking for a sub and headphone recommedation guidance.

chrislago, im not the only one saying i can hear it, most people here agree, as did you later. Yeah i know it doesnt make or break the track, but i just got interested in taht.

yes guys, one day at a time.

voice genius: ok ill take your word for it.... tuned? you mean it changes tune over its duration, or its just tuned diff to the original kick.
sorry guys i ask alot of q's.
Good thread.

ps. i think i saw a youtube vid of dre interview not long ago, and he was asked what he was most proud of or his fav track, something like that......and he thought for a quick minute and said "in da club," because its the closest hes got to perfection, in the mixing...not in those words....
