hi
i have tannoy reveal montors, and music does not sound good through them.
Therers not much low end, so when i make music, i have to eq the bass up alot to hear it etc.... and so then when i play the mix on a normal hi fi or in my car, its hella distorting and bass is WAY TOO MUCH drowning out everthing....but on tannoy monitors it sounds ok.....

so im thinking my monitoring is not too good.
I also have flat walls behing me...so reflections etc are also in effect.

I think i would enjoy making music on hi fi or sub heavy speakers....

tannoy are just too mid rangy.... bass is hard to produce with them i find...

any suggestions?

i see some of you are saying you use one set to BUMP music (enjoy the bass sound etc).....and another to make music on (mix)

is there a trade off? where i can have a set of speakers that i enjoy listening to music on AND making music on?
