I had a DA7 a while back, very nice board. It's of course digital, and has a digital sound which wasn't what I ultimately wanted. But it has clarity, and all the bells and whistles. Easy to work on to. Pro features.

Another thing to consider is value - DA7's can be had under a grand, while the DM24 commands a bit more, since it's still a newer board. The DA7 is discontinued, and you might have trouble finding service (?).

I think the DA7 is just a more solid desk, all around. You don't hear any issues with it really. The DM24 seems to get complaints and less people are happy with it.
