Well v2 incorporates the ability to decorrelate up to three M7s for surround. I honestly can't make a better surround solution than that.
As for digital, the decision to stay with an analog interface, has everything to do with resale value for you! After years go by, the difference in the cost of a used M7 that only supports digital I/O will be what? 1 or 2 hundred dollars. So the resale of digital only systems would be very limited. You may laugh but this is our reasoning!
