If only for sampling, I don't see much reason to go with a DJ cart (compromise accuracy for cueing purposes). When I asked about this a while back (in
this thread), Bob Olhsson's recommendation was the Shure v15, and that's been the near universal recommendation from everyone else I've since quizzed about carts too.
Personally, I'm using the Stanton 681eee (also mentioned in the linked thread), and that's working very well for me.
