Starquad is my preference too, but it may not *always* the best choice depending on what you are connecting. Some say its not great for line level connections due to the wire's higher impedance compared to non-starquad cable. I can't say that I have ever "heard" a difference. Another concern is that more care should be taken with the connector terminations, as the starquad can be tricky to solder and is more fragile. I have had no issues with my starquad cables, Canare / Neutrik.
