I am a big believer in PT LE but ONLY in conjunction with a fast computer and a good 3rd party clock and converter(s). I recommend the apogee Rosetta 200 or 800 for both. If you've never used a good clock for your DAW, you will have no idea how much better it is (especially for mixes with a huge track count). You really do get better imaging and bass definition. PT LE internal clock with the 002 or 003 will not deliver.
In other words, I bypass all the "outboard" components on the 002 entirely, and just use it's digital ins and outs. We mix in surround as well using the Neyrinck plug-ins, which are great. | |
