Any suggestions? I dont want to pay too much money? Someone on another forum mentioned a Nobels ODR-1 when there was a similar question to mines?

I have an original green ODR-1. It's really cool and fairly transparent. The thing is instead of a mid boost it has a bit of a bass boost. This turns out to be a plus for most people however....

I'd be more likely to put the EQ after the OD. But yeah- OD plus EQ equals .

There's also the Timmy and Tim (the later has a loop built in that is perfect for an EQ), NOC3 Pure Drive, Xotic AC Boost, Catalinbread Silver Kiss Mk2, and Subdecay Liquid Sunshine (as well as many others) which are all worth checking out.
