Apparently Nashville is a bit messed up nowadays. I've heard that from a lot of people lately, and from Artists/producers who went there to try to make a dime.
The scene in Toronto Canada is pretty dead as far as getting out there is concerned. It's almost impossible to even get noticed unless you play some hard rock music.
I am a solo artist and it's impossible to showcase my music. Im past the acoustic guitar gig and whatnot, I could care less about that, but performing with a turntable is not really accepted here, Unless you're a Dj... How am I gonna play those 25 synths I recorded? Ha!
I work on way more international projects than anything, because the people here aren't serious, and they think they can get songs produced for free... Well you get what you pay for.
