2" panels usually work really well to tame voice-band bounce in a room like that. I'd also look at the walls first simply because that's the low hanging fruit in terms of accessibility. The ceiling might be an option afterward, but you may not need to do it at all. And yes, should the aesthetic of the space be a critical issue, you can always get panels with artwork on them.
