I'd heard about the listening tests that Ethan mentioned early on about the audibility of absolute-phase (polarity) of various sounds, and how it was generally only perceived for certain well-designed (ie. not musical) sounds.
Has anyone conducted a test into the audibility of an all-pass filter? If phase shift is audible, then a nice wide all-pass would be a good way to show that beyond doubt.
