Is a taste of only the yamaha pres.. used with all tracks, bass is via the hiz input

I like the tunes, sounded great. I actually forgot that I was listening to it for the pre-amps, lol.
If that was recorded with the N12's Pre amps and converters then I think I will be all set in the quality department as far as pre's and converters go if I get the MR 816. Thanks.
