yea, actually just got back from the ascap event in la (im from nyc)
The ny rep does help me out at times, but he's swamped and it seems the producer/writer relationship thing isn't too high on the list .
And the writers I do get are almost always just so-so..
My production is (from the mouths of others) good, but lyrics and melodies are not there.
I'm tired of hearing this same thing from multiple sources...
