BINGO!! My thoughts exactly. Reason allows me to get ideas out quickly...and best of all its extremely stable. The problem with third party plugins is that there are just waay too many out there.. which is a good thing for versatility, but can be cumbersome for daw developers. Its hard enough to keep things stable in your own controlled environment (daw app), let alone introducing outside influences that may/may not break your package.
Sound
They give you the options : Dont like the boxy sound... no problem.... rewire... export to audio then import it in your favorite daw for mixing/processing. OR if you have a ton of outboard.. there is always the hardware outputs which can directly go to your summing mixer/console/reverb units/comps/eq/etc.
