Even though my interest in Sting has slacked off in the last few years, he is the reason I became the musician that I am. And yes to whomever said The Police were greater than the sum of their parts!
I had the honor of having lunch with Sting at his house a number of years back and he was quiet, but very nice and gracious. (he and his producer Kipper, super nice guy!, were listening to mixes of Send Your Love over lunch and it was so cool and over whelming to be there)

I think I'm going to go listen to Ghost in the Machine right now!
