I had a chance to try this amazing microphone a few days ago and really liked its crispiness, its build quality, its precision, etc. but sounded a bit agressive with that hard-hitting male vocalist ...

What other option would you suggest as a natural feel/3D/precise vocal microphone ?
Thinking of ribbons : I tried Crowley & Tripp but found them a bit too neutral, I tried AEA and found them a bit too coloured ... never tried Royer, how do they sound on vocals ?

By the way, I am usually using U67 (very rich low-end), U89 (very well balanced), C-414, AKG The Tube (quite muddy), Shure SM7b, etc.
But, I'd like to go further ...
