From what I remember (and the plant guys among us can probably get the details better on this one), the older versions of Eclipse software (or firmware) had trouble with some versions of CD-Text. Unfortunately, there was (is) disagreement with exactly how to implement it since it's an add-on that wasn't part of the original red book spec. I thought I remembered Eclipse updating to reflect the variation so this error didn't happen anymore. Maybe this plant doesn't have the latest rev installed? There are multitudes of CD-Text encoded titles out there originated from Sonic. There are bunches from my system alone (though sB, not PMCD) and I've never had a rejection. Sorry for the half-remembered scoop here. Hopefully somebody with a better memory will elaborate.

I got this error message from the CD duplication plant that I cannon find any information on, and was wondering if any of you had experience with it:
"Bad Language Error" from Eclipse: CD-Text data contains a block with a Language code value of 0. The language code tells the CD player the language in which CD-Text will be displayed. This problem is caused by the utility that created the original CD-Text data.
I've searched Sonic's site, can't reach anyone by phone, and couldn't find information about it on the web. The also seems to be no field for this in PMCD. Have any of you with much more PMCD experience seen this issue?
Thanks SO much,
