I worked in a studio regularly for a couple of years in the middle of the 90's and they had a large format Hill console. Something like 32 channels and 8 or 16 subs. It sounded VERY good. It was an excellent rock desk. It gave a most pleasing opaque color to mixes, slightly enlarged everything and the mix bus didn't collapse when pushed. Now... if I could only remember it's name
