Why cant you just option click the plugins on the channels you want to export? If you turn them off then all is good right? Don't forget to set the channels to "0".

I usually just save the mix I am working on as a different name then do all of the edits for export. If you are not sure what I am talking about I can upload a session that I had to do this for.
