Not sure about your request as a whole, as it seems to me fro the suggested task you could do it with virtually any speakers, but for that money I would frequent ebay and pick up a secondhand pair of passive PMC TB2's....whether the black studio, or the wooden hi-fi version.......you'd get a speaker that will outlast your needs for ages and sounds great.
