I looking for a pair of powered monitors primarily to listen to vocals. I only have $500.00-$700.00 for the pair.
I will primarily be using them for in home practice (with tracks) in a 15x15 room, light mixing, and to critique myself.
I will be using a Shure KSM9 mic into a Soundcraft EFX8 and a TC Helicon Voicetone Correct (for compression only).

PS: If I hear another sound guy say you are recording good vocal tracks with a shure dynamic mic I'm gonna walk into traffic.
