I've been asking for this for 10 years - I'm amazed it has taken this long. Seems like such an easy plugin to create. Anyone who has taken the time to use volume to duck and boost instead of using a compressor to do the same job will understand how this plugin will be useful. Compressor volume control and automation volume control don't sound the same. Each has its uses.
A lot of times I'll use volume to fix Esses instead of a DeEsser, which usually works better - I wonder if this will be good at catching them. I guess it could be side-chained to do that.
