The more DAWs there are out there, the more we will profit because they will take features form each other. Look at the amount of features that ProTools and Logic "interchanged".

I find amazing that Presonus Studio One has:

-Automatic delay compensation (hello?...are you there Digidesign??? PT LE?)

-Red Book CD burning

-64-bit processing (even on 32-bit machines)

-K System metering !!!!

Companies are realising that the way to go is the integrated solution software + hardware. Actually the reason why digidesign got so big.

Logic (with Apogee) and Steinberg did it, now Presonus... great!

Now, is it possible to have external hardware inserts in each track? Will the automatic delay compensation also compensate hardware inserts?

Is there a Presonus hardware that has simultaneious 24 I/Os? PCIe?
