Window unit will vibrate the wall, so, stiffen the window you put it in. It will compromise isolation and leakage. You could build an insulated intake box around the window and unit with a convoluted air entry and that would help. There is a thread about building a box , search for it, although it ='s for inter-room ducting, the principle should still serve.
Otherwise, just get a portable.
