yeah, i feel the same way. I just upgraded from Logic 6 to 7 so now i have like 4 new instruments to learn inside and out (it comes with new synths and a drum machine).
But then I saw a bunch of good deals out there and bought some new stuff anyway...
But some synths can be programmed forever and pushed further and further...it's up to the user.
