really learning your gear

ive got a roland fantom s that ive had for about 8 months. i bought it for 800$ after the x's came out and everyone was looking to upgrade. anyways, i dont use it that often, i just wanted a workstation kinda just to have one. i do most of my stuff itb. anyways, after i wacthed the little scott storch piece, i thought. i really am not using my fantom like i could be. so i dedicated the last 3 days pretty much to learning this machine. this sh*t does everything and sounds great. kinda feel like ive wasted the last 8 months of this synth. dont think im getting any new synths ( hard or soft) for a while. i just added imposcar and was thinking i still need 1 more synth. all im saying is that when you want something new, make sure you dont have it already.
