Ok I have two more mistake on a hit records. I was just there at Sun Recording studio in Memphis TN. I saw the x on the floor where Elvis stood and where the two other guys stood when they recorded "Thats alright Moma".
rock n roll was almost invented from the creation of this song. Sam Phillips was looking for a new sound. That day he was in a bad mood. He thought they were not getting it.
Then during a break while Elvis and the guys were messing around during a break Sam heard the sound he was looking for. Rock n roll would never be the same. I guess one could say rock n roll was invented out of a mistake. Or atleast a fluke.
Same with the Beatles. Brain Ep had been turned down by all the record companies. On a last ditch effort he went to George Martin. George Martin didn't really like the Beatles recordings that much. What he liked was hearing the boys joking around on the 1 st recording he heard of them. This fluke or mistake led to the biggest band in the world being born.
GT.
