I'm thinking about making the TDM plunge with PT and I'm struggling with wehter I should get a used MixPlus system with an AD8000 and a few 1622's for my synths or if it makes better sense for me to get a HD1 system with a 192 i/o and a 96 i/o for the synths.

Would the HD system offert THAT much better sound quality to warrant the leap to HD?

What is the cheapest amt of loot its going to cost me to get a a decent HD system with some decent i/o where my sound quality isn't compromised.

I know this should probably go on the other board, but I,m a hip hop/r&B head and I'd like to hear you guy's thoughts on this.
