Thanks. I know I kinda answered my own question already i think.
I'd mainly be recording vocals and DI bass but some other stuff like acoustic guitar and live percussion too.

is something to what someone said earlier in this thread about the features of the RNP. I have an RNC also, so the inserts on the RNP are nice (although there are ways around this). Also it didn't look like the BLA has DI inputs. This really isn't a problem for me though because I use a passive DI box between my bass and the pre anyway. And plus I'd probably just hold onto my RNP no matter what as a backup.
