Here's my humble dorm room setup (don't laugh). To your immediate left and right are my "kitchen" and "bedroom", respectively.
If you stand very still you can hear the room sobbing "treat meeeeeee!". My primary mic right now is a C414 B-XLS, which turned out to be a suitable jack-of-all-trades mic for my voice, guitar, and banjo. Everybody's gotta start somewhere, right? ...right?
