Sorry about that, but I'm really not sure I know a better word at this point. Maybe inactivated is a better term, if that's what's actually happening. I first encountered the problem yesterday morning during my initial bootup for the day. There was no communication between the n12 and the PC, and upon inspection, after opening the firewire icon in the systray, all the display fields were grayed out. I reinstalled the driver, and the extensions, too, just to be inclusive. The fields were no longer grayed out and the n12 communicated well with the PC. It worked well all day long. Booted up again first thing this a.m. to the same scenario. Reinstalled everything again, and all is well again. For the time being, anyway, it seems. I sent an email to tech support, but haven't had a reply yet. And since I thought it might be a new issue, I asked here as well. Thanks.
