Indeed, Yamaha Tech Support is excellent. I was having trouble getting the new FW driver to install properly and, thus, get the Cubase Ready indicator to light. Called Tech Support and a very patient and highly competent fellow shepherded me through the entire procedure. There is truly no need for anyone to vainly beat their heads against the wall attempting to complete the new upgrade. Give the n12 techs a call at 714.522.9950. That's a shade different than the number you gave, George. Don't know if it matters all that much or not. Anyway, they are there for you. My tech even offered to send me a free Cubase instructional DVD, an offer I readily accepted.
George, I just received my n12. Just as you are leaving, it appears. That said, I bought it after reading a number of posts by you and others. It's working out OK. So, thanks for all your dedication to the thread. And thanks to everyone else, as well.
