The rooms (one for recording and one for mixing) probably will be square-shaped or retangle-shaped. I guess i could use MDF or another cheap 'wood' to 'unsquare' it. Would this work ?

im in the same situation as you im building bass traps out of owen 703 in wood frames which arent permanent so they go with you.
