Since you
just said you made the gui for each plug yourself ...(corel)
and that they are bitmaps...
But that we are also seeing the original gui...(with some parts of your window transparent)
and while i dont think you completly rebuild the gui (moving parts, representation of eq curves, etc)
Do we see the original gui, shining trough partly, overlayed with custum bitmap?

You`re right im sooooo curious about all that... I`ll definitly mess around with it a see if I can do a little DiY myself
(I might even say: if I could do it myself.. what might lead to a little wordplaying and an angry girlfriend

but I was just thinking that when your dealing with big company`s, how "interesting" the difference between actual worth and street price often gets. Product, marketing, seller, reseller, resellerreseller, custumer...
