I've used the waves and IMO it's great, I saved an otherwise unsuable acoustic guitar track with it that had a lot of computer fan noise but the take had mojo so I tried the waves to see if it would work ... it did and its hard to hear any side effects unless you apply it too much, I know it's not the cedar but it's very usable
compared to the DINR plug the waves was more transparent but I don't think you can compare those to a $10k plug in
