Let us know how it goes please. I read that analogman also does that mod and he probably knows what the mod does to the sound of the pedal, the advantages and disadvantages that it brings. Other than the snipping of the C4 cap I read more details, such as replacing some electrolytic caps for metal film caps and tantalum.
