I say get pres instead of the mod. Though people harp on the digi clocking, for the level you're at (and a lot of others) it's not going to make or break it imo. Tons of amazing things have been made with 002's and worse. I'd rather have the pres.

For the same money as the BLA mod or less I'd got for a Mini Me, good clocking and an additional 2 channels.

I'd still go for pres first though.
