Here we have an 60% tax over any electronic product. For example: at ebay, right now there´s a bcr2000 for $129 new. The shipping of that will be sometyhing around $60 (or more). The sum is: $129 + 60 = $189 * 1.6 = $302.4.

Here I use an 3rd 15 inch monitor (I use and usb-to vga adapter). The glass with the encoders is attached directly at the monitor. I am planning to build an aluminum or wooden case with the glass inside. That will protect the glass and make things more robust; And it wil become easy to attach it to a lcd monitor. It would work exactly as an overlay. The "bottom" of the encoders stays almost touching the lcd monitor, so that the glass "floats" over the lcd screen at a (more or less) 1 centimeter distance.
