+1 on having to setup each plugin manually.
Count me in for a group buy. I would love to have 4 of them. 1 that always stays on lead vocals, 1 for kick, 1 for snare, and 1 "floater".
Personally, I'd LOVE to see a full on DAW controller along the lines of the plugin controller. Real hardware feel and interaction. Something with
dedicated knobs/buttons for pan, mute, solo, rec., 3-5 aux sends with pre/post switches, etc. + LED scribble strips + 100mm faders, and sell them in 12 channel "buckets". Maybe in a rackmountable design so they can easily fit in 3rd party desks.
