i have sent myslef a cd in the mail before. Then not opened it and stored it someplace safe. IF its not opened and postmarked on a certain date, that should be enugh proof that you wrote the song befoer a certain date. I also feel that if you recorded it yourself, you have proof that its your tune on your DAW, or hard drive, whatever. But i could be totally wrong.
