LeMauce, NO 5 buttons were dead.
1. Take the top and all screws off.
2. Get some good pliers and semi carefully but firmly PULL the cap off the button and then take the little white cap OUT.
Be carefully because inside is a little rubber part that will JUMP out!
Spray electronic contact cleaner inside.
DON'T spray them with out dismantling them!
They did a solid job building the buttons and they are not broke, they have dust preventing them from making good contact or the last owner used WD40! Don't do that! Use electronics cleaner!
All my buttons are smooth as silk now!
Word of caution, my button 8 was not broken until I put contact cleaner on it with out it being taken apart and I freaked out but its OK now!
