| I agree with Tapwater, I think the main thing is you need is to move, if you can go to college/university, then go to one in a big city with the best scene. Go out and get into that scene, make friends, other musicians, dj a bit if you can, have fun. Live the scene, learn your daw of choice, collaborate, one thing always leads to another.
The truism I've learned is that it's not the destination that matters so much as the journey.
