What should I do based on my situation?

I am a 16 year old in Canada. There isn't any electronic music scene (Trance, Drum & Bass, House, etc.) where I live, Only Pop, Rock, and Hip-Hop. The only place to go to is the internet. Over the internet I have learned the basics of any DAW (except trackers), the basics of most genres of music, and the basics of DJing. Now I sit here on my computer with 7 Computer Music magazines, 3 small pieces of gear (25 key MIDI keyboard, Hercules dj console Rmx, and Sennheiser HD 280 pro's), and the internet.

I only have 1 year until High-School is finished and I'll have to go to University somewhere or in the workforce. I have no idea what to do to achieve my goal, what to expect in the music industry, how much work is needed, and where to start. I have browsed through this forum and I noticed there are many experienced and professional people here. Could you please point me in the correct direction?

All help is very appreciated,

without doubt I would recommend you to learn Logic, it is the industry standard for electronic musicians, Also give Ableton Live a shot, it has become the djs Daw by choice. Also learn whichever DAW you chose like the palm of your hand, and buy the Future Music mag to check out the DVD where Pro musicians show the way they work.
