I have a heavily "upgraded" and lightly modified MCA SP1 and it sounds smoother than almost anything else. Makes an awesome room mic, it's the first one I've actually been happy to use. It added right in without screwing everything up. Beautiful. I had it across the room where it should have sounded like CRAP and it didn't, no EQ, full spectrum.

I have A/B'd them, the Oktava has more low end and more lower mids in a musical way, the V67 doesn't have as much low end and is still a brighter mic without the highs sounding so "brittley" anymore (brutally + brittle = brittley).

I won't use pitch correcting software. I use "coaching" maybe you've heard of it. It keeps working even when you don't have it on.
